“Phenomenal Ephemerals”

Just because a flowering plant doesn’t flourish from the spring thaw to the first hard freeze doesn’t disqualify it from having a place in the garden. Ephemerals, as their name suggests, come and go in relatively short order, but they provide a sense of surprise and a fleeting beauty that is hard to match. We’ll be reviewing the classic spring ephemerals, but also other plants that have trouble looking good through the Oklahoma summer and how to grow them successfully.
