Budget Committee
The Budget Committee shall be comprised of achair, the OGA Treasurer and one additional committee member. The chair may appoint additional members as needed to accomplish committee responsibilities.
The committee is responsible for assisting in the preparation of the Association’s annual budget, recommends budgetary amendments and advises the Board of any concerns regarding the Association’s financial welfare.
The committee presents a proposed operating budget to the Board at the February Board meeting. The Board will adopt the fiscal year budget no later than the March Board meeting and will present the adopted budget to the membership during the March Association meeting. Normal operating expenditures occurring prior to the approval of the annual budget will be approved by the OGA Treasurer.
